For nearly 75 years, the Ram Power Wagon has exemplified trucks that can take on the toughest challenges and the 2019 Power Wagon is no exception. Based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4x4 Crew Cab, the Power Wagon is the most off-road capable pickup available off the showroom floor on the market today.
Designed from the ground up for severe off-road duty, the 2019 Power Wagon is equipped with a unique suspension with more than 51 mm of lift and 363 mm of ground clearance, along with a front sway bar that can be disconnected electronically from the driver's seat for additional articulation. Special 33-inch Wrangler DuraTrac tires are fitted that feature Goodyear's TractiveGroove Technology for enhanced traction in deep mud and snow.
One legend deserves another, so the Power Wagon comes equipped with the 392-cubic inch, 6.4-litre HEMI V-8 engine featuring sequential, multiport fuel injection to develop 410 horsepower while delivering a massive 429 lb-ft of torque delivered to the transfer case through the rugged 66RFE six-speed automatic transmission with its heavy-duty gear sets.
The three-mode transfer case with 2WD, 4WD High, and 4WD Low, plus a Neutral position delivers the power how and when needed. The low range is an aggressive 2.64:1 crawl ratio. When combined with the electronic locking front and rear differentials you have a truck that can tackle the toughest terrains. A 5,443 kg winch is standard, with plenty of capacity to pull lesser trucks out of trouble.
The new Mojave Sand limited edition Power Wagon is the first time the desirable Mojave Sand exterior paint has been available on a Ram Heavy Duty truck and is exclusive to the Power Wagon. To accompany the new colour, new all-black wheels where created to complete the exterior design theme.
The limited-edition Power Wagon features an all-black interior along with Ram's class-leading Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen. The Power Wagon Mojave Sand edition also incorporates the Heavy-Duty Luxury Group. Features include LED bed lighting, an overhead console, fold-away power heated mirrors, and a universal garage door opener. The Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand limited edition is available in Crew Cab 4x4 and will be available through Ram dealerships only in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The very first Power Wagon trucks were derived from Dodge ¾-ton military trucks built for use by the Allied forces during World War II.
