For 2018 the Dodge Journey lineup consists of Journey CVP, Journey SE Plus, Journey SXT, Journey Crossroad and Journey GT.
2018 Dodge Journey CVP
The most basic version is the Journey CVP (Canadian Value Package) is a well-equipped Crossover for the value-conscious. Powered by the 2.4 L DOHC 16 valve with Dual VVTI four cylinder engine that produces 173 horsepower and 166 lb.-ft. of torque, linked to a four speed automatic transmission that's coupled with an automatic transmission that drives the front wheels. The interior offers a single interior color choice: black over black with cloth bucket seats. The Journey CVP is fitted with two rows of seating to provide 67.6 cubic feet of cargo space in the back. Audio is delivered through the Radio 4.3 that features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, MP3 player compatibility, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, a USB port, and an audio input jack. The Journey CVP rolls on 17 x 6.5 aluminum wheels wrapped with P225/65R17 all-season Touring tires. So if you're in the market for a no-nonsense, spacious yet economical Crossover, the Journey CVP could be a good choice for you.
2018 Dodge Journey SE Plus
The 2018 Dodge Journey SE Plus is offered standard with the same drivetrain as the Journey CVP, but with the addition of some extra touches. On the interior you'll find a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, on the roof a side roof rails with crossbars finished in black, brighter LED tail lamps, and deep-tint sunscreen glass. The Safe and Sound package is available as an option. So if value remains important to you, but you appreciate a few special touches, you might like to upgrade to the Journey SE Plus.
2018 Dodge Journey SXT
Standard features and options both increase when you hit the Journey SXT model. All SXT models are equipped with Canada's favorite engine, the 283 horsepower 3.6 L Pentastar V6 VVT engine, and a tuned suspension system. Features standard on the SE Plus carry-over to the SXT, plus there's a number of available options. Those include a six speaker plus subwoofer system, power 10-way adjustable driver's seat including four-way lumbar adjust, heated front seats, and sunroof optionally on SXT models. Should you be requiring the towing power the Pentastar V6 provides and/or the capabilities of all-wheel drive, the Journey SVT might be a good place for you to start.
2018 Dodge Journey Crossroad
Crossroad trim starts with front-wheel drive and the Pentastar V6 and upgrades to 19-inch black wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, rearview mirror with microphone, Bluetooth, black and platinum chrome exterior trim, front and rear LED reading lights, graphite interior accents, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment, satellite radio, leather-faced seating, 10-way power driver's seat with four-way lumbar and premium door panel trim with accent stitching. All-wheel drive is an option. If you live in your car, the features and connectivity available in the Journey Crossroad may just be the best for you.
Journey GT
GT AWD is available only with all-wheel drive and the Pentastar V6 with the smooth-shifting six-speed automatic transmission, The GT features a performance suspension matched to P225/55R19 all-season Touring tires mounted on Tech Silver wheels, chrome door handles and bright roof side rails, rear park assist, remote engine start and an integrated garage door opener. Audio is delivered via a 368 watt six-speaker stereo with subwoofer. Options are very limited, as it's already well equipped, but include rear-seat video, sunroof, and the navigation and back-up camera display. If you need to channel your inner racer in a well-equipped yet practical Crossover, then the Journey GT is just the ticket for you.
Third Row Seating
